There are also different levels to play, with each one becoming more and more challenging. Gathering lots of points will let you unlock the polar bear’s other adorable winter friends, like the penguin, which you can play later on as your main character or avatar. After launching your polar bear down the icy tubes or slide, you have to stir it left or right to avoid getting hit by objects. It has similar gameplay with other popular games like Minion Rush and Temple Run except that you are a Polar Bear sliding down on a floaty and having the best time of your life instead of being chased by monsters in an intense escape run. Special about this game is the theme, which is of course Holiday related, so the background graphics, the level design and your enemies originating from various different holidays.Polar Bowler is a classic arcade game where you will have to survive on your way down a slippery slide on the snowy mountains until you reach the end. ![]() Touching the secret brick will immediately end the current game and you have the chance to play a secret level, to score lots of points (and earning additional lives that way). ![]() There are also a lot of special brick types in the game, most notable the explosive bricks (damaging adjacent bricks), the plague brick (spawns new normal bricks) and the secret brick. They can be destroyed by impacting with the ball. The enemies aren't really enemies, as they can't attack you, but they might divert your ball into a direction, where you can't catch it. Like usually, you have a lot of Power-Ups, which will help you to complete the game, those are: paddle shrinker, paddle expander, laser equipment, attach (the ball don't bounce from the paddle), phantom paddle (this provides a ghostly extension which follows you), twin paddle (it divides your paddle into two paddles, but you move them like one), slower ball, faster ball, divide (3-ball), 8-ball, Blasterball (goes through any bricks), extra life, flash (destroys the enemies) and score multipliers. The game offers four difficulty levels and while there is no save function, you can start the game from every 10th level, assuming you already reached those. If you loose your final ball their, you don't loose a life, but the secret level ends immediately. The game has also bonus levels, which can be accessed by destroying the Secret-Brick. Some guardians have self-defenses, which can destroy your paddle. The more guardians you face, the more powerful they are. At every 20th level, you are facing a guardian, which blocks the next levels. With those lives, you play through two worlds, each filled with 100 levels. The same goes when you are lucky enough to catch one of those rare 1-UP-Power-Ups. If you scoring enough points by breaking the bricks, you will be rewarded with an extra life. The game starts with 3 lives, once you miss your last ball in the game, you loose a life. This game is the sequel to Blasterball 2: Revolution. ![]()
